Sanja Marusic

In the run-up to Art Trade, we introduce the participating artists by asking them some questions. Today: photographer Sanja Marusic who is publishing her first book in a few weeks.

I work a lot on my computer and I have meetings throughout the week. I also photograph, but not every day! Sometimes three times a week, sometimes just once.

Which artwork (well-known or unknown) do you wish you had made yourself?

A Bigger Splash - David Hockney

What would you have become, if you weren’t an artist?

I have been taking photos since I was 15, so I really wouldn't know. Maybe a teacher, I like to help and teach things to people.

Why do you think Art Trade is a good idea?

Because of my curiosity, I am curious what people will trade for art. And money is not everything, I love experiences and adventures and maybe this will give me a new experience.

What other projects are you working on?

My first photography book. If you're interested, you can come to my book launch and exhibition in the Melkweg on 8 september, or you can buy my book online
