Josefina Anjou

In the run-up to Art Trade, we introduce the participating artists by asking them some questions. Today: Josefina Anjou, who could have been an unfortunate scuba diver.

What does an artist do throughout the day?
The other day I wondered, if I will ever get the ease of living two neutral days in a
row that look more or less like one another. It did not happen yet.

Which artwork (well-known or unknown) do you wish you had made yourself?
Every progressive rock album cover that Roger Dean ever did.

What would you have become, if you weren’t an artist?
Since I was a kid I wanted to be a scuba diver, but every time I get closer to a scuba experience something drastically bad happens. If I weren't an artist I would be a scuba diver but I would also most probably be dead, faith has it.

Why do you think Art Trade is a good idea?
Every art event is a good idea! This one, Art Trade, might even possess extra win-win-win qualities as an event. For artists, bidders and visitors!

What other projects are you working on?
Summer vacations mean art vacations, even though some stuff has been done to keep the beats of my art-heart pounding steady. Yesterday I painted a beautiful prince boy who tries to stop the slime from pouring out his aching heart.
