"Relics” (2025 ) and “Lustrum" (2024) by Fiona Lutjenhuis acquired by Centraal Museum, Utrecht
We are delighted to announce that the works Lustrum and Relics by Fiona Lutjenhuis have been purchased by the Centraal Museum in Utrecht. Lustrum depicts the apocalypse as told by the father of the artist. The condemned are left and not to be taken by the aliens. The aliens will save only the enlightened from a sunflair that burns the surface of this earth. A biblical angel appears as butterfly wings. Cave drawings are all that is left of us. It was told that it would happen within 5 years, but it never did. Relics is a self portrait of the artist in dream state.
