This exhibition runs until 25 May.

The NN Art Award is intended for an exceptional talent who has studied in the Netherlands and whose work is on display at Art Rotterdam. From the jury rapport:

The jury praises Lutjenhuis’s distinctive visual style. Her narrative work is rich in symbolism and detail; it is unique and inextricably linked to Lutjenhuis’s personal past. She offers the viewer a glimpse into an extraordinary worldview that would otherwise remain invisible to many. The jury is impressed by the innovative narrative forms and multidisciplinary approach of Lutjenhuis’ practice, which immerses the viewer in her past. The jury regards Lutjenhuis as an intelligent artist with great potential and expects to see much more from her in the coming years.
