Fiona Lutjenhuis nominated for Prix de Rome

We are very honoured and proud by the nomination of Fiona Lutjenhuis for the Prix de Rome 2025. It is the stimulus prize for talented visual artists from the Netherlands and the Caribbean part of the Kingdom. The nomination is accompanied by an exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, which opens this autumn. The winner will also be announced then. The jury notes that Fiona Lutjenhuis, through her imaginative and singular oeuvre, achieves a compelling and multifaceted presentation. The artist layers autobiographical events in a kaleidoscopic composition. Her paintings demonstrate impressive artisanry, while the work exudes a sense of freedom and ease.
