Natacha Mankowski - The Fertile Laziness, 2025

€20.00

Natacha Mankowski’s latest publication in collaboration with Virginie Gauthier, explores the Ritsona twin quarry in Greece, a site shaped by extraction and abandonment. Using self-made oil pastels crafted from gathered minerals, she captures the site’s transformations.

Her layered paintings of the site evoke the quarry’s luminous reds, deep blues, and golden hues, echoing the fading light of a Greek sunset. The publication, accompanying the series, offers an intimate look into Mankowski’s process—where geology and painting merge to question our connection to the land.
